She was often late to appointments, once as late as half an hour. She got my name wrong all the time, and once confused me for another patient until halfway through the appointment. She seemed almost too willing to write prescriptions for every little thing too. Something just seemed off to me, just didn't seem like she acted in the best interest of her patients. My year seeing Josephine was nothing short of a nightmare. Within that time, she had given me 8+ medications all for diagnoses that I did not have. I saw her for anxiety and by the time she was finished with me she convinced me I was Bipolar, manic depressive and had a personality disorder. I was so high on all these medications that I could not even think. I saw a different psychiatrist for a second opinion by the advice of my mother. Alarmingly unprofessional; told me I couldn't leave her office the first meeting without being prescribed lamotrigine after diagnosing me with bipolar from taking a ten-minute quiz. As we had more meetings, she talked about herself most of the meetings, and I remember her talking about her kiddie pool planters for her tomato garden for a lot of our sessions.
