I didn’t even meet Dr. Beets until he did my endoscopy. I saw Kenya, his PA. She is awesome! Dr. Beets needs to give her a raise. She does all the meet & greets. It made me feel unimportant that he couldn’t even take the time to meet me before he shoved a light down my throat.
I saw Dr Beets once in his office and the day of my colonoscopy. In 38 years, I’ve been treated by two fantastic doctors (not local) who know I have never maintained a daily medication nor suggested that I do bc I have mild UC but I do take a dose pack if I have a flair. Not regular. In his office, he did not like that I hadn’t been on meds for 35yrs even tho he had my previous reports. But said we’d see how my procedure turned out. If you want a considerate and knowledgeable Doctor who can help you through your labs and more you need to call Dr Beets! The Best!
It took me MONTHS of visits, I only saw Dr. Beets once, to get a colonoscopy procedure. I scheduled it, had insurances approval and had met my deductible, and they called me 2 days ahead and canceled my procedure, based on false information. They thought I had a stroke, which I did NOT, and said they can’t do it for 12 weeks. So, 12 weeks from what? There was NO stroke!!!
