Wasn't going to leave a review. However, my inbox keeps getting inundated with "Please leave us a review." I was referred here by Mercy hospital, as they could find nothing to explain the pain I was in. When Dr. Akornor did a so called exam, he told me I was just getting old. He then told me to make a follow up appointment and left the room. No discharge paperwork or anything. Just told me to go up to the front desk and make another appointment. Very unprofessional, I will never use this Doctor again.
My urologist passed away and I was sent to him for a procedure that I've had more than twice before. He refused to help me with pain control when his plan wasn't working, I have MS and I have a high tolerance to pain medication because of a different medication that I am on, every patient is different some need different care. He refused to even have a conversation with me or discuss any other options to help me and told me to go to the er for help on 2 separate occasions. I believe he was also supposed to give me an antibio... read more
