My life has changed drastically thanks to Dr Herron. I had the thumb implant surgery/ ery long medical terminology. I was not even able to hold a coffee cup because of the pain I use to have. I am at twelve weeks now but at six weeks I had full mobility. Dr. Herron is kind and recommends the best for his patients as he did for me. I am back to normal, no pain not arthritis. I am very grateful to him and Sarah. Sarah did the sutures. They are plastic surgery sutures and you can hardly tell:
I had my left thumb CMC joint replacement with Dr Herron. Unbelievable results. Essentially no pain and cast off in two weeks. Truly remarkable. Dr Herron was superb!
He is a nice, approachable, good doctor. I would highly recommend Dr. Herron for anything hand related.

Got in & was given X-rays right away for both hand pain areas. Dr Herron arrived soon after, answered all my questions, no rush. Very knowledgeable about hand pain & surgery. Great bedside manner. Discussed options starting with OTC treatments, and ultimately decided to receive injections accompanied by a 30 lb X-ray machine; until we decide to do surgery. Injections should last 3-6 months. Highly recommend Dr Herron at the joint replacement institute for hand pain/arthritis!
