I was diagnosed with 'degenerative arthritis of the upper spine'. I went through the traditional treatments including physical therapy and later tried chiropractic. Nothing helped. I went to Dr. Carter to try acupuncture. After two treatments I noticed definite improvement. After the third more, now after the fourth huge improvement. This is a blessing! Also Dr. Carter has good 'people skills' as does his staff. Top Notch!
I went to try to quit smoking. My first visit was awful. In saying this my left hand at my thumb hurts severely. When the doctor put the needle in I let him and his assistant know that it hurt when he tapped the needle further in. It was like severe burning sensation, as if a nerve was hit that shouldn't have been. I asked his assistant if it was supposed to hurt like that but she didn't reply. She hooked me up to electrodes which was normal I'm sure but the actual electric shock never was felt in my ears. I left the office ... read more
