My 85 year old mother just had a horrific experience yesterday. She was scheduled for pacemaker placement on July 6 at 11:00AM. She was ordered to have nothing to eat or drink after midnight. We got to the Albert Luce Heart Tower at my mother's scheduled time. After registering in, we went to the 4th floor and made a right to have a seat in the waiting area.
