Doctor Ortiz took care of my 88 year-old mother with such care and understanding, unseen in the medical field today. He took his time to slowly explain everything that was going on, he gave her all the information about what was going to happen on future visits.. Grateful to Dr.Ortiz for making my surgery as smooth and comfortable as possible!
Did not feel supported in my appointment nor was info provided about my baby or how I am currently progressing. Instead he took the whole appointment to scare me into having a repeat c-section. I understand having to provide patients with potential risks, but this went far beyond what I’ve seen from other OBs. I walked away stressed, emotional, and anxious. If I wasn’t in a small town like Alamogordo, I would have changed practices but unfortunately I do not have many options here.
