I am a new patient to Dr. Mayer who was referred to me by my primary Dr. And neurologist ( who retired). I was very comfortable talking and going over my problems and yes all the poking with the needles. He even had me walk for him so he could see the problem. Explained and answered all my questions.
Yet another doctor who refuses to find the root cause. He did order a few scans and then gave up when it wasn't a slam dunk case. Didn't even address the findings to attempt to remedy(my chiropractor did). When a patient is still experiencing symptoms I don't think giving up or suggesting pain medication for an issue that is not pain related is a viable treatment plan. Dr. Mayer is excellent. He's attentive, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to, even when he's sticking needles into you repeatedly. All of his staff are also good.
