I think Dr Sohn is great. He is very friendly, patient and spends time discussing whatever issues you may have. He demonstrates a great deal of knowledge and expertise and never contradicts himself from one visit to the next; which I have experienced with other specialists. He is not quick to push surgery which is very good. Highly recommend him. I have actually referred my own mom to him as well.
Dr. Sohn and the entire staff were very efficient and friendly. As someone with chronic lower back pain and a previous surgery, I was very nervous when my pain got almost debilitating in the last month. My first meeting with Dr. Sohn was a welcome experience. Dr. Sohn explained my problem and the steps needed to relieve my pain. He didn’t rush and answered all my questions thoroughly. He was compassionate, asking me more about myself as I also had a cast on my foot. Dr. Sohn had done a successful fusion on me 11 years ago. The X-rays look as good today as they then, with the exception of a little arthritis. There is no question in my mind that I would return to have Dr. Sohn treat my back again if necessary.
Dr. Sohn was fantastic, he explained everything clearly and concisely. After reviewing my X-rays, he confirmed my spine is in good condition and my issue was most likely muscle related. The staff was also professional and friendly. Highly recommend.
Doctor Sohn was very knowledgeable and explained my condition . He actually showed and explained my MRI in way where I actually understood what my spine looked like and where my pain is located. It was encouraging to hear a doctor say you do not need surgery instead let's try different type of injection. It was also beneficial to know he was willing to change my medication. Dr Sohn has always been kind and patient and concerned about any procedure he performs. He checked in with me many times both in the hospital and once I was discharged and has always made it a point to say he is available if I need him or have questions. I recently went through a serious spinal surgery with him and am so grateful for him and his gentle and calm manner. I feel like I'm off to a good start. I'm struggling with this pain for so long. But I already feel better in just one visit.
From the initial appointment through my hopefully last appointment, I had nothing but positive experiences. Dr. Sohn took the time to answer all of my questions prior to and following my spinal fusion. The surgery and care I received has changed my life from one of constant pain, back to active and pain free. Highly recommend!
Dr Sohn takes his time to explain everything. He is very professional and kind. Great bedside manner. His staff are very friendly and helpful.
