Dr. Cefalu has been my cardiologist from my initial heart care.He is a doctor who cares about my health and lïstens to my concerns, and answers my questions. His professionalism and friendly spirit are so important to me and I am so happy he is my cardio doctor.

Dr Cefalu has been my cardiologist for 32 years. Numerous blockages two bypass surgeries and 5 stents. He has kept on top of my issues and I have complete faith in him. Best around as far as I’m concerned.

First of all, Dr. Joe saved my life, literally, when I was flown to OLL from another hospital after a major heart attack. Doctors in the first emergency room later said they didn't expect me to survive the helicopter flight. Dr. Cefalu just "happened" to be the only available cardiologist at the time. I was later told that for my situation he was the best doctor in the Southeast. In the 19 years since I have seen him regularly.
