This was my first visit to see Dr. Layug.I liked him right off the bat. His communication style was direct, warm, knowledgeable. His years of experience was conveyed with his questions and focused exam, his discussion of treatment options starting with conservative interventions first and other treatments if the first actions were not effective. Partial Knee Replacement surgery went well. Outcome closely matched with Dr Layug told me I could expect. Reasoned approach, thoughtful decisions, careful approach prior to surgery - injections, other treatments and then surgery and only partial, which I turned out to be a very good candidate for. Extremely pleased with the outcome and path to long term recovery.
