Bad Experience This is one of the worst companies that is out there. I had chosen to do lasic here back in 2000. What a aweful experience. My eyes slowly began to loose vision so I had choosen to do a prk back in 2005. This actually made my vision to go worse. I now suffer from aweful halos, blurred vision, dry eyes, and aweful night glare. I have no idea how this company got nominated as number one. This company sure does not deserve to be number one. Very Poor Service Recieved I had lasic done back in 2001 . One of the worst decisions of my life. I had a cornea flap issue that was corrected and had to wear a contact bandage on my left eye after the correction. I now suffer from halos, sometimes blurred vision, starbursts, and dry eyes . I did however, have great vision up until this year. I went for a correction in my left eye back in May of 2010, there was not enough tissue to take off. Old novus employee I worked at Novus for 6 years. This is a wonderful company. Dr Pirman is one of the greatest Dr's you will have the pleasure of meeting. Just was reading some of the reviews of the staff being rude and the wait for the exam. Well I was one of the staff and I can tell you that the reason most of you waited was beacuse you walked in 30 minutes late for your appointment and backed up the schedule and for us girls sitting there gossiping we check in 250 to 300 people in a day so if we had a 2 minute down time ... read more
NOVUS CLINIC IS FIRST CLASS I have been to many eye care centers and have never had a better eye exam- Dr. Pirman was so understanding and took the time to answer my questions. (I felt bad for the next patient as I felt like I took so much of his time!) My point is, I am convinced that Dr. Pirman spends the time with people that he feels he needs to help them. Pirman Joseph J Od - Novus Clinic is the worst. This is by far the worse experience I have ever had. The exam took over 4 hours, however I could go shop at the smallest and most expensive optical department. The staff is so VERY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I will NEVER return and I will tell every person I work with who has my insurance coverage. Do not, I repeat, do not wast your time or money.
Novus Clinic I have visited both the Tallmadge location and the Manchester location and have been very pleased with the service. I have been going to Novus for four to five years now.
Horrible service I have never experienced a worse eye doctor clinic in my life. My very first appointment at this clinic took 3 and a half hours simply for a basic eye exam and contact fit. I had to leave before they could even finish, and had to make a total of 3 trips to this office because they could not get my prescription right. 2 patients who had appointments after me were in and out before I even went into a doctors room. Opthamology I recently had to take my mother for any eye check up for glasses.We went to their other office on Manchester Rd. in Akron which is closer to our area. She was seen by Dr.Johnston.I was very impressed with his care. He informed her she had early cataracts but not bad enough yet for surgery and checked her for glaucoma and found out she indeed did have it.He explained everything so she could understand and kept her from becoming over anxious.
