My mom's had diabetes for more than 40 years. For many of those years, Joseph Giangola, MD, has been her diabetologist/endocrinologist. He has a wonderful way of connecting with his patients. When he's in the room, he is solely focused on the patient. He asks thoughtful questions, he speaks gently and kindly, and most important, he treats all patients with dignity and respect.
