I have been wanting to get my veins taken care of because my legs always felt very heavy and fatigued. I need a knee replacement and my Orthopedic Specialists referred me to Dr. Magnant to have my varicose veins looked at first. I have been a patient of Dr. Magnant for 10 months. I went to his office to get sclerotherapy for spider veins in my ankles. Vanity brought me to his office. I had no idea that his practice would help me with the terrible pain in both of my lower legs from the knees down. He does diagnostic ultrasounds on all patients. I’m 72 years old woman. I went to see Michelle and Dr. Magnant for a check on my veins. My test came back that all was well. While talking to Michelle I mentioned my hip pain and the lower back pain that was getting increasing worse. She suggested doing one more test. Immediately after the testing Dr. Magnant came into the exam room to tell me I had a bad blockage in my pelvic area. From start to finish...Meeting with Michelle Cain, one of Dr. Magnant's PA's who talked with me about the vein issues I have had, made it easy for me to understand. I can tell she really cares about the patients!! Dr. Magnant performed a procedure to remove some of my bad veins and did something called Sclerotherapy to make some smaller, yet, painful veins go away.
