My impression of this man is that he is a "guy's guy." He did very little investigation despite CPS reports. Interviewed the children in front of their abuser, virtually. He did not conduct interviews with any collateral people who could have spoken for the safety/happiness/wellness of the children he was supposed to be serving as GAL. As a guardian ad litem he does a poor job of advocating for the children within the family system and not assigning his own set of morals and values to the case. He did an excellent job of perpetuating my abuse within the legal system. It was obvious he is not trained in trauma informed practice, nor child development. Once Atty Alioto was involved in my divorce case a good old boys' club of misogynists formed to vilify me for my sexual identity. Treated us like family. He was strong, compassionate and very knowledgeable. We had a very delicate and tragic family case he was helping us with and he made us feel safe, heard and supported. I’d use him many times over and happily pay his retainers.
