I suffered for nearly a year after a pain management procedure gone wrong. The lumbar spine pain was horrific, limiting my abilities and causing me to withdraw from life. I was in bad shape. Dr Snavely is a kind, caring, and extremely talented surgeon. From the 1st consultation I felt cared about and hopeful. The surgery went well and 3 months later the pain is 90 % better! I am so happy that I met him and his team. Dr Snavely is truly in the right profession. I highly recommend him to anyone with spinal disorders.
Dr. Snavely restored my life! I had a severe L5S1 disc herniation and sciatica which progressed into not being able to walk, and I could barely get out of bed. I was hesitant to go through surgery and he didn't persist. Tried PT for a couple months, but ultimately we decided to go through with microdiscectomy, and I was asleep for an hour and when I woke up I could have walked out of the hospital! Immediately relief. Dr. Snavely is a miracle worker and I would trust him again, 100%!! I cannot recommend him enough!
After discussions and alternative procedures, we decided on surgery. I had ACDF and PCDF fusing C3-T1 over 2 days. The procedures went wonderfully and I felt tremendous relief after the first surgery. 2 months post and I am doing great. He was upfront about my surgery and what to expect. Easy to talk to and takes time to answer any questions, before and after my surgery. Everyone involved in my care from the beginning made me feel at ease and well cared for.
