In 1986 I was a firefighter and I sustained a serious knee infection while fighting a fire on the lower east side of manhattan. A nurse friend suggested Dr Zuckerman and he did knee surgery on my right knee. It was the best medical decision I ever made. I’m now 67, retired and I worked 33 years more in the FDNY. Many others said I might not be able to work as a firefighter again. Thanks Dr Z, if I ever need surgery again you will be the first person I’ll call. Retired Battalion Chief John Postel

I received a bilateral total knee replacement with Dr. J. Zuckerman in July 2010. I must say that this surgery was a resounding success! I attribute that to Dr. Zuckerman and his team. Over the years I have recommended his services to many friends and family! I was recently made aware by my current Orthopedic surgeon in the Bronx that Dr. Zuckerman is going to retire.
