We found Dr. Stern to be an articulate, compassionate, approachable, and available surgeon whose extraordinary knowledge and skill created virtually a new life for this patient. Lacking arrogance, he consulted with a colleague in our presence, thus increasing our confidence. He is a genuine and very likable person. His nurse was also extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
