Dr. Stern was very positive before my surgery. He is very easy to talk with and a good sense of humor about the situation. I would recommend him to my friends.
I would highly recommend Dr. Stern. I am a nurse at Cone Health and have worked with him and observed patient outcomes. I was very anxious to undergo this surgery, but knew that I was in the best possible hands. Per operatively, he spent a lot of time reviewing MRI and X-RAYS results with me,explaining the surgery,and answering all my many questions. He never seemed rushed and I really appreciated that. Thankfully, I am recovering very well and am most grateful.
The only reason I did not give a perfect score is because if the wait for office visits. As far as the procedure I had a discectomy 1 month ago and so far the pain is almost completely gone and we expect that to improve over time. I would recommend Dr. Stern without reservation.

Dr. Stern performed surgery on a ruptured disc affecting my L5/S1. It proved to be instant pain relief , I would and do recommend Dr. Stern to any one experiencing back and nerve pain.
