My list of issues is way too long at this point. Finally just went and found a new doctor. Dr. Chavez is polite kind professional and a very great doctor. That being said, his support staff have undermined my healthcare. They don’t schedule your follow up visits, don’t answer the phone when Dr Chavez is out of town and if he’s not there, your health suffers. Anyone who has a negative review on Dr. Chavez Carey is the problem. Not the Doctor. He's extremely down to earth. Listens to everything you have to say and doesn't just want to throw a whole bunch of prescriptions at you for no reason. He's one of the best Doctors I've ever known and had the pleasure to have as my primary. He's very thorough and informative and doesn't make you feel rushed.
He's very personable and attentive to my patents and our needs. Takes his time with us and is very thorough
After only 5 minutes of meeting me, Dr. Carey was extremely dismissive of the multiple chronic illnesses I have developed over the last 5 years. Stating that based on his observations I am not living with a life altering condition and that I do not need accommodations at work. You do NOT know me and you didn't even try to understand what I am living with. He clearly doesn't care about his patients and is willing to let them suffer.
Today, on April 1, 2025, I met Dr. Chavez Carey for the first time as a new patient. He is very kind and approachable. He carefully listened to all of my concerns and I requested blood work to be done, which he quickly ordered. The nurses were extremely friendly and kind. I am thrilled to have Dr. Chavez Carey as my new doctor.
