Not that I love going there for traffic court, or for the water bill, or for the library, but the place is very well run. Clean & organized.
I had a very difficult experience trying to resolve a traffic ticket issue at the Joseph Caleb Center. I visited the center five times, and each visit only left me more confused. I was spoken to rudely, frequently interrupted, and often not given the opportunity to fully explain my situation. The behavior I encountered was highly unprofessional and made me feel as though I was asking for a favor rather than receiving proper assistance. The staff were warm and welcoming, I knew the Center offers other services, however, l only visit the campus’s Headstart and Library, however. The inside of the building and grounds are clean, peaceful and well-cared for with security always present. This Center is a beautiful beacon of the Brownsville Community were locals may easy access many critical public services.
