I'm forever grateful to Dr. Palascak for the great care he gave me. Not only finding a potentially lethal growth, but going the extra mile to find the most skilled surgeon to preform it's removal. It could have gone so many different ways. Truly an excellent Doctor.
Dr Palascak ordered a capsule endoscopy which I did then he refused to make an appointment with me to go over the results. He's a very bad communicator as well as very authoritarian!!
Doctor inserted endoscope down my throat despite knowing that I was undersedated, because he was running late.
He tries, but he is very wooden and stiff. He *had* been my doctor but when I started losing weight and having abdominal pain, he had already done an endoscopy and just ordered one more test. He then said he had, "Done every test known to man", which was totally untrue. I ended up seeing different gastroenterologist in Los Gatos, and it was night and day. Although I believe he was medically competent with the colonoscopy, I did not experience support or kindness as I chose no sedation. He warned me that he would use sedation if I was uncomfortable. I asked that he include me in that decision. He said I could either accept it or he would abort the procedure and I would have to do it another time.
