This doctor was assigned to my mom at the hospital. He never cane to physically see her and just ordered a brace. Our family had many questions but he never stopped by even after the hospitalist messaged him and told him we had questions. The brace did not even fit my mom properly and she is unable to use it.
I really like Dr Abbatematteo, very straightforward. And very easy to talk to.
I’m updating my review to 4 stars because of my experience with Dr Abbatmatteo himself. In the room, he was thorough, calm, and very objective. He took my symptoms seriously and documented my sensory deficits in a way that actually felt accurate, which I really appreciated. Where things fell apart for me was everything around him.
