I have seen this doctor as a specialist twice. He rushes and does not explain well why you are experiencing discomfort or pain or what is going on. He does however turn everything into a sleep study for some reason. He concentrates more on that than the real reason you are there. Wing see him again I feel as I wasted my money and time
I can’t recommend Dr. Ruiz enough! He removed my tonsils last month and did an excellent job with the surgery and of setting expectations for what recovery would be like.

Not a pleasant experience today. I could hear from my room a private conversation between a nurse and a patient on the phone. The nurse had her on speaker asking her personal health questions. I told another nurse to please let her know that she shouldn’t do that and she gave me an attitude! Then Dr. Jose Ruiz came to see me and he was yawning discreetly. Thank you Dr. Ruiz for your care, kindness, and patience. My son had problems breathing and sleeping since he was little and Dr. Ruiz and his team at UHealth at Lennar successfully diagnosed the problem and performed sinus channels opening and reduction of turbinates and adenoids. Everybody was caring and very kind at Lennar and Dr. Ruiz took the time to explain every step of the process without rush.
