Went in on 10/22 at 6pm two females laughing at hostess stand neither would acknowledge us finally went up to them after a couple of minutes and asked for a table. One of the girls went to the bar area and the other said they had a 10 minute wait with probably 10 to 12 empty tables and 2 other customers behind us. Left and went to Margaritas in Liberty got helped right away and gave us much better food than I ever had at Jose Peppars.
Went to Jose Peppers on Tuesday, 4/21/15 for a birthday. Our bill was $40.96, so left a cash tip of $10 (1x$5, 4x$1, 4xquarters). I crossed through the gratuity line, wrote the total of $40.96 at the bottom and signed it. Two days later (Thursday, 4/23/15) I looked at my credit card charges and saw Jose Peppers had billed me for $46.96). In effect, we had now paid a gratuity in the amount of 40% of the meal. We went in at 1300 on a Sunday. People were eating but it was not busy. We were told it would be a 25 minute wait. We asked for a seat outside. She told us we could not be seated outside. (It was not full there either) we were seated in a booth, after being told the wait was 25 minutes. Someone dropped chips and salsa at the table but made no effort to greet us. I just had the misfortune of experiencing this Jose Peppers for the first time. Service was terrible, food was disgusting, and even the manager did not take the time to listen to our entire complaint, once he thought he understood our issue he comped our cold, thick espinaca dip...gee thanks. The best part about the trip is the parking lot was shared with a gas station that allowed my friend a place to vomit once before trying to make it home.
Amazing service! Delicious food! Great atmosphere! I go once a week! Love the $2 margs on Monday and Tuesdays!!!
They always have good food, friendly staff. I love how they have so much room at your table even when you have a big group. The restrooms are always clean and never a mess. They are very quick at clearing out tables so your not looking at a dirty table next to you for a long time. The prices are cheap as well.
Awesome restaurant! Great food and fantastic service! Waitress was just wonderful. She was very friendly and after we were done she asked if we wanted ice cream for our 4 yr old. The food, portion and taste, was amazing! Will definitely be returning!
Our whole family ate lunch at Jose Peppers and we loved it. The waitress was very nice and she took good care of everyone. We'll be back soon!!
