Could be so much better – When researching places to visit, the draw to an Irish/Mexican restaurant seemed great, as if it was going to be a new experience. Well the fries were the only "irish" item on the menu (they were the best part of the meal). The mexican items were typical fajitas and quesadillas... The waitress had a major attitude problem. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Corned Beef and Cabbage Burritos – When Obama closes Guantanamo, this is where we should store its collection of America-hating terrorists. Geneva might call it torture, but Jose McIntyre's calls it Saturday night. The bouncers in this place were the most ridiculously inept losers I've ever seen. Imagine a bouncer. Now imagine him functionally retarded, and with the look of a guy that got out of prison as recently as that morning. That guy's their best bouncer. The cop they had keeping watch (I'm guessing he's on the take) w... read more

Worst Bar In The Universe – I had a friend in from out of town and took him to Jose McIntyre's (really?) on a Saturday night in January. His jacket went missing and so the bouncers decided to help out by physically picking him up without any provocation at all and throwing him into the street in 15-degree weather wearing nothing but a t-shirt. The bouncers are definitely those dudes that never outgrew picking on people in H.S...assuming they even went to H.S. at all. Having my buddy thrown out for no reason whatsoever was a ... read more

better then no service - has cold beer – I've been to a lot of bars in boston. This one by far has the most unfriendliest bouncers, bad food, and unattentive wait staff. The general manager was incredibly rude and would not even tell us his name after we told him he was being rude (it's brian--we found out from a staff member). The burgers were way overcooked. How do you mess up burgers? And the singles scene? The singles scene is as good as the food. I guess if I have to say something good about them, the beer was cold....

Worst in Boston? – First of all, the bouncers give you a lot of trouble just going in. Once you get in, its no better. Bartenders aren't hot, just slow and rude. Poor selection of beers and the food isn't very good, I don't know what everyone is talking about. Don't bother wasting your time there. Many other better bars close by! Don't go through what we did.

Shamrocks and chili peppers coexist in harmony at one of Boston's most popular bars, a two-story monument to multi-cultural bustle. – The Scene Some claim it's an Irish pub with a Mexican feel; others say it's a Mexican cantina with an Irish bent. But everyone agrees that this is one of downtown's liveliest establishments. Nestled on a tiny street between Quincy Market, the financial district and the waterfront, "Jose Mac's" draws strong after-work crowds on weekdays, while weekends see younger groups arrive to dance the nig... read more

Good pub grub – Boneless buffalo wings were awesome. Nachos were decent as well. Nice place to grab a quick bite a few beers.
