My experience here was great Dr.Mahiquez took the time to explain the infection I had and what I needed to do to prevent it in the future and referred me to a specialist even though the lobby was full and the wait time was hours. In my opinion I would recommend everyone go here for any urgent need unless it’s a sick child they need to go to wake med or a pediatrician those facilities are more appropriate for dealing with little kids as I have two of my own. Took our 11 year old son to Urgent Care on a Sunday to be seen due to fatigue, vomiting, a high fever and persistent coughing. After waiting patiently in the exam room for our son to seen. Dr. Jose Mahiquez opens the door and promptly begins to blurt out “It’s viral “It’s viral.” Giving us a lecture on how our son needs to finish his medicine which was prescribed by his pediatrician just two days earlier.
