Dr. Ortega fully explained the situation with my umbilical hernia. I felt very comfortable going into surgery. The procedure was excellent and I experienced no pain whatsoever. Highly recommended.
One of the best doctors that I have gone to and I have gone to a few that was just bad and uncaring, he very patient and caring, the lady at registration stated that you are going to love him and indeed I did
This doctor was highly recommended but to my disappointment I could have just gone to a nutritionist or an Endo to tell me how to eat healthier, no high hopes.
Dr Ortega is absolutely amazing! He always spent time explaining my condition, answering my questions and made sure I was scheduled for what was needed prior to my surgery. I never felt like he was ever rushed even though I knew he was busy. He is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. His office staff is friendly and prompt. I was very scared after my diagnosis and he and his staff made my experience a great one given the circumstances. I highly, highly recommend him.

The moment I began my surgery process with Dr. Ortega he was very patient and informative all the way. He was immense help, and I can't recommend him enough. If you are looking for the best surgeon who cares about you and is passionate about the best care possible... look no further..!! I had my gallbladder/appendix removed and was over the top impressed with Dr. Ortega's bedside manor and expertise ... Would refer all my close friends and family...!
Dr. Ortega recently performed laparoscopic surgery to repair two inguinal hernias for me, one of which was fairly large and longstanding. I was quite apprehensive about the procedure, due to a few horror stories I had heard from acquaintances who had had the same procedure. Dr. Ortega was very thorough in explaining what the procedure entailed and quelled most of my concerns. I could not have been more pleased with the surgery and have had only minimal recovery pain. Excellent surgeon!
