My Father had a triple bypass on 9/11/18 Dr. Escobar was awesome. He visited my Dad at least four times a day. He was thorough in his explanations and very kind.I expected a much larger incision, but My Father And I we very pleased that it was much smaller than we expected. Dr.Escobar did a triple bypass.An excellent doctor.My recovery time was quick, my scaring minimal.The care after surgery -excellent.
Beware! This doctor treated me for a blood clot and I ended up being transported by helicopter to another hospital. He wanted to amputate my legs! Because he let my feet go over night with no blood, today I can barely walk. The doctor at the hospital I was taken to saved my legs. If you smoke, he will treat you like a second class citizen.

Very compassionate surgeon
In 2015, Dr Escobar did a triple bypass and his care was excellent so, when a PET scan revealed a small "highly likely" malignant growth on my lung, I had him remove it. Once again his care was excellent. Added to the good care, is a congenial personality and it's obvious that he genuinely cares about his patients.
Recently, Dr. Jose Escobar removed my upper left lung lobe. During my 5 days in the hospital, he came in several times a day to see how I was progressing. His bedside manner was great and he made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend him for his expertise and knowledge.
