This place is horrible! my bf and I stopped by on a Saturday because we needed a suit for Monday for a funeral a lady with short white & gray hair and glasses was so rude condescending and unprofessional to us it was disgusting and she even scolded us for waiting until the last minute She embarrassed us in front of customers and her other co workers SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED! This has been the worst customer service experience we've ever had. My husband is going to be in a wedding and this is the place the groom chose for the tux. He went to get measured and the sales person was very short with him (note:my husband is very quiet and laid back) on top of everything else. Got a great deal on a suit or so I thought. Lady didn't charge for alterations up front and it delayed me getting my suit by about three weeks. Not one time did they ever call to tell me the suit was ready. Very incompetent crew at The Avenue location.
My husband spends a significant amount of money in this store, but our last 3 purchases have been enough to drive us elsewhere. He bought a sport coat just a few months ago which was so cheaply made literally every button has come off and I have had to stitch them back on. Frustrating, but ok. Then we bought a 3 piece suit which had to be tailored and the pants were tailored incorrectly. I purchased a suit for my wedding at Jos A Bank at the Briargate location in Colorado Springs and had my groomsmen rent a tux also. My suit had to be fitted 3 separate times before I decided it was close enough and got tired of having to come into the store over and over. I was also told by a store employee that my upfront charge for my suit covered everything including the tailoring but when I picked up my suit I was told that I still needed to pay another $45 for the tailoring. Before I explain what exactly happened, let me briefly explain my poor review. We decided to file a poor review because of his unwillingness to apologize for mistakes, offer a discount, or admit any wrongdoing; lateness of the order, and inaccuracy of the order. This company charges $9.00 for shipping in addition $15.00 for 2nd day. Paul Fredrick's doesn't for the same type of items.
Used them for my wedding on 12-1-12, and they appeared nice and congenial to begin with, but our salesperson Stephen Curry was almost useless. He misquoted tailoring prices from the beginning, and he wouldn't talk to my wife with any real attention when she went in to try and handle things when they lost my best man's tuxedo the day before our wedding.
