If I could give half of a star, I would. The worst customer service out of all of the places I went. My boyfriend went to Jos A. Bank to find a suit. We had been in Mens Wearhouse previously, so we had an idea about the type of suit that we wanted. As soon as we walk in we are greeted by a woman, and she says that the gentleman would help. I had a situation where I had incorrectly ordered two shirts with a large online order we placed. Our shirts had been shipped to an embroidery company down the street from the Joseph A. Banks location on Gaskins Road (I am physically located in Raleigh, NC). I called the store to see about placing an order with them and having it shipped to the embroiderer. I was looking for Father's day gifts for my dad and brother. I went in thinking that I would get them a couple of ties, but....they are both regular shoppers. In talking to the clerk, apparently the store keeps track of the sizes the shopper purchases AND they had a great sale on shirts :) I ended up with the title of best gift giver this year :)
The service can be shotty and it's very clear commission is #1, but the suits are quality.
110 years in Business??? it may not look that way if they continue tio employ low quality employees. I wish I could give his store a -100 stars. I had brought my dad over to look for a suit. the male clerk kept on yelling at my dad in a condescending manner. "Don't button that !!! Don't do this!!!!" the entire belittling my dad. I went with my fiance to buy his shoes for the wedding and I was impressed with the customer service! I'm very happy :)
They have failed to get my order right going on seven weeks now. I ordered and bought about $5,000 worth of stuff and have yet to receive all of it, seven weeks after they told me it would be here. I am very unsatisfied and I will not be shopping here again.
They weren't very helpful in making sure that I bought what I needed. Instead of making sure that I looked good, they just threw a bunch of products at me like a car salesman does.
HORRIBLE customer service. I was recommended highly from two people close to me to get my wedding dress altered by Brenda. It was clear there was absolutely no passion at all in her work, much less even show a sign that she cares. I made an appt via phone in advance to get my dress altered and apparently was not written down because when I get there at 4 oclock shes stepped out just like she said she would be on any other day at that time but that she would make sure she was there well she wasnt and after calling she says sh... read more
