My first visit. More productive than the last 4 providers I have seen in the past 3 years.
I always had a great experience with Dr. Figueroa. I went to him for years for myself and my children. I had to switch doctors due to insurance changes but now that I have insurance he takes I'm looking forward to switching back.
If you are looking for a doctor who genuinely cares about his patients and is dedicated to understanding their unique needs and health concerns, then look no further than Dr. George Figueroa. Not only is he a highly skilled and credentialed physician, but his gentle, caring demeanor is shared by his entire staff. I have been on disability for many years, and he is, without exception, the very best doctor that I have ever seen. I am confident that you will feel the same.
Dr.Figueroa is a great Dr. who listens to his patients, cares and takes his time to make sure the person is on the right care for their condition.
He is the most caring Doctor I've had in my 15 years in this area, and I've left 2 other Doctors. He never rushes and sits eye to eye and discusses my concerns. He has taken me off 2 prescription drugs the other Doctors had prescribed and I'm doing fine. Now he has left this practice and I really hope I can find him. I've been going to Dr. Figueroa for years and really like him. He makes time to really talk to you about any & alll questions you have. This sometimes makes his next patient have to wait a bit, but when I have to wait longer than normal, I remember the times that he spends with me going over my list of questions. His office staff will NOT answer the phone, nor will they call anyone back. Dr. Figueroa frequently writes prescriptions, but then will not call the insurance company for pre-authorization for those medications. He also will write prescriptions for MRIs, but does not take the time to call the insurance company for pre-authorizations. He has no problem handing out prescriptions for pain medications, that aren't needed, and does NOT listen to the patient. Every time I go he writes me a prescriptio
I went to Dr. Figueroa for several years, He just threw more pills at all medical problems, did not ever try to cut down the medications and try to find other ways to treat me. The wait times in his office were very long, every time! His office staff was extremely rude. Years ago I found a caring Dr. who got rid of unnecessary meds. & found other ways to treat me more effectively. They refuse to send him my records, for years, still, despite my requests! This is, of course illegal. NO STARS
Dr. Figueroa always makes you feel like you are part of his family. And I look at it like this, if you are in a hospital doesn't matter which one and you were to ask a nurse agin -anyone- that Nurse would have nothing but Good thing to say. As do I.
