I had scheduled an appointment with Dr Smith in july for a first available appointment in November. After waiting 4 months for the appointment, I receive a phone call 2 days before the scheduled day telling me the appointment has been rescheduled and I needed to call to find out the new appointment day. When I called, I was informed that the appointment was now mid February and the reason was because she was teaching on the scheduled day. Dr. Smith is extremely caring and knowledgeable. I learn things from her that other eye doctors never mentioned!
Dr. Smith is very informative, thorough, professional and compassionate with children. She has been very helpful in treating our sons recurring chalazions. She takes the time to explain treatment plans and answer all of your questions. I highly recommend her to any parents in search of a kind and knowledgeable Pediatric Opthalmologist!
Dr. Smith is very thorough, knowledgeable, and has excellent bedside manner. She exceeded our expectations in treating our child who had retinoblastoma and was very communicative and transparent. I highly recommend her.
