Dr Abel is a wonderful doctor. He is so caring. I feel very comfortable that he is concerned and knowledgeable about my health needs.
These questions all ask about phone calls to the office. Patients are discouraged from using the phone, Providence wants everyone to use my chart, I'm feeling that the doctor doesn't see my chart messages. Almost all messages are responded to by others on the staff. In general, there is a long wait time for an appointment with Dr. Abel. When I have a problem/question that needs to be taken care of right away, I go to the walk-in clinic in Olympia. It's a long way to drive but I don't have to wait a month to see someone. Dr. Abel is amazing, but he is overworked. More doctors need to be available so one doesn't have to wait a month or more to be seen.
Dr Abel is very caring and takes the time with you. Spends time teaching too.
I always receive attentive care from this provider. He listens to what I have to say and provides sound advice regarding my overall health.
