Listens. Takes his time. Does not automatically choose surgery. He did do surgery on my husbands frozen shoulder that was necessary but did not choose to do surgery on mine but went with therapy. So he is good at tailoring his treatment. He has since dealt with other shoulder and it's issues and although took longer helped me resolve them without doing surgery. Think he is an exceptional shoulder specialist and recommended other specialist when he needed to.
I saw him for a second opinion regarding a shoulder issue. Spent time with me and was able to help me without surgery. He doesn't rush off to surgery. I liked that.
After a one minute visit where he promptly told me I needed to see an oncologist and then immediately left the room, I went and got an MRI. This was nearly 4 weeks ago and I'm STILL waiting for him to call with the results. Luckily I went to a more competent and caring dr who informed me that it's a tumor growing that's breaking my shoulder. I'm glad I didn't hold my breath waiting for him to call with my results b
