I had an unfortunate experience at this dental office. During a visit, I asked for a referral to a periodontist because I wanted a specialist involved in my care. The dentist appeared to take offense to this request and became upset. Shortly afterward, I was informed that I was being dismissed as a patient. I found this response unprofessional. On my final visit to Dr. Teder, she administered extra local sedation without asking, possibly gave me a hematoma in the process (given the pain I was in for a week after) spent all of a couple minutes to grind and fill a cavity almost certainly created by her when prepping for a crown on an adjacent tooth, and then her staff neglected to run the bill through insurance and charged me full price for a “repair” that left the tooth with rough edges and in worse shape than when I came in. The most unprofessional and horrible teeth cleaning! Did'nt even polish them! Not checked individually by the dentist and no discussion about the teeth, only by looking at the immense amounts of x rays taken! But, let's talk deep cleaning!
I had fillings done on my upper left side by Dr. Teder. Four weeks later, I returned because I was still experiencing pain. However, Dr. Teder did not repeat any X-rays. Instead, she instructed the dental assistant to apply something to my tooth to help with sensitivity. I was told that the pain was normal and would eventually go away, and after a brief glance, she confirmed the fillings looked fine. If I could rate them "0" I would. The staff is rude and unhelpful. You'll never get through to the dentist if you have a question or concern. I had teeth whitening which literally faded in less than a month and they refused to see me to correct the problem! Now, they're hounding me for $$ that my dental insurance already paid them! Stay away!
