I had a very disappointing experience at Joondalup Emergency Centre. I waited for an extremely long time to be seen, and when I finally saw a doctor, I received conflicting information from different staff members. I left feeling exactly the same as when I arrived, with no real resolution to my issue. On top of that, there seemed to be no concern for whether patients have someone to take them home safely. Overall, I felt uncared for and let down by the service.

Only 7 people waiting and over a 6 hour wait time. Still haven’t been seen so self discharged. Horrible wait times and terrible clerical manners. Don’t waste your time, go to another hospital

Waiting 12 hours to be seen is something I have not experienced before coming here. However, the nurse staff and Drs are in shambles for beds. They professionally are amazing, just restricted space and resources. Waiting area Not ideal for MH patients. I must apologise to the staff for the score, its not their fault. Proposed solution. Request network enhancements that run software platform such as Nexus SMS, SMS Express and the like. Wish there was half a star. An elderly man was waiting for hours, after asking if there was any doctors the nurse replied "any manners?". When he had enough he got the nurse to call a taxi home. This man can't even walk and can't get in his wheel chair on his own, the nurse showed no concern for him going home alone. Another man is waiting in terrible pain can't sit or rest without pain.
