Dr Maria Franchina is absolutely excellent !! Thorough and very good with her dialogue at explaining matters. She is well informed and an expert in her field. She would rank as one of the best, if not the best !
We saw the Specialist for less than 5 mins... looked at my daughter's eyes for probably 5 seconds.... told us she didnt need glasses.... and we got there in the end with her vision??? (We were not even there because we though she needed glasses...) Not sure the Specialist even read my daughters referral... Suggested drops we had already been using. (Surely the referral had stated this) felt like a money making effort and she wanted us gone because she was ready to leave for the day.. Got more out of the Specialist at Specsav... read more
The rude insensitive African/black assistant(?) who does the pre scan checks before you see the doctor, you are unbelievably insensitive and borderline racist. We’re not having trouble opening our ‘small eyes’ for your machine, love. It’s the height of the seat not being adjusted for different patients. Repeatedly saying to open the eye wider and making that snarky comment, followed by non stop humming to further show the lack of respect and common courtesy for a patient. Just had cataract removed on my right eye by Dr. Raja I couldn't be more satisfied with the care I received from him and the incredible team at Joondalup Hospital and Joodalup Eye Clinic. . Dr. Raja is an outstanding specialist who combines expert knowledge with a compassionate approach. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much Dr. Raja for making such a positive impact on my vision. Just had cataracts removed by Dr V Raja .I can honestly say what a great improvement to my sight.in such a short time. Dr Raja's and he's team at Joondalup hospital were all fantastic throughout the procedure. Must say I was quite apprehensive before the operation, but honestly I don't know why it was a breeze, must also give shout out to anethertist Dr L Lum. All were totally professional.
