Dr. Uhm is an amazing person, Dr and a repeat Dr. Of mine. In 2004 I had brain cancer and surgery. He was apart of team at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN. He was kind knowledgeable and professional. Then and now. I recently had another brain surgery to remove a grade 2 astrocytoma. This time I've done radiation at the Mayo Clinic and now we are also doing chemo therapy. This man saved my husband's life. We went to see Dr. Uhm because my husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor and we were told that it could not be operated on. Two years out from a 12-hour brain surgery and he's doing great. He did not even need radiation or chemotherapy because the surgeon's did such a great job removing what we hope is all of the tumor. I can’t say enough good things about Dr Uhm and the entire Mayo neuro team. My 24 yr old son has a very rare brain tumor. A tumor where a regular oncologist would never see his entire practice. We took our son to Mayo because they are ranked number one in the nation! Dr Uhm saved my son’s life by going outside the box with treatment. I wouldn’t trust my son’s care anywhere but Mayo.
