Had possession of my boat 3 years and kept moving his shop and never completed the quoted work. Finally had to pick it up in worse shape than what it was delivered in. He takes on more work than he can do and focuses on the quick fix in and out jobs. Don't be fooled by the good ratings you see, they are the minor repair quick in and out jobs. Don't take your boat here if you don't want delays and constant excuses.
( PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE YOU TAKE YOUR BOAT TO JON’S SPEED AND MARINE!!!!! ) First off, I never write reviews about things, but I had to on this. 6 weeks ago I took my boat to Jon’s Speed and Marine to see why my 1985 Force outboard motor was bogging down and not getting on plane and backfiring through the compression plate on the side of the motor. I told Jon I had replaced all fuel lines, primer bulb, sending unit, spark plugs, and fuel pump and probably need the carburetors re-sinked. Jon said that he would do a c... read more
Had a problem with our jet skis. Told us to bring them in Saturday morning, and I figured it was going to take him about a week to figure it out. Calls me later in the afternoon to say they were done. He diagnostic it right away and It wound up being a broken wire caused by another mechanic. Jon is a straight up guy and even though he's busy he made time for us and we'll be grateful. I'm recommending everybody to go here
This guy was awesome, he was open on 4th of July. Had the Volvo penta seal we needed in stock and got us back on the water
