My son got an Amaryllis bulb from his Grandma for an early Christmas present because he's into gardening and she wanted to have a competition who's grew best by Christmas. His first stalk bloomed beautifully by Christmas morning and second a few days later! He got 9 flowers. We trimmed the stalks and now he has another one on its way! He won by the way!
