I genuinely like Dr. Jones -- smart, warm, kind. But my skincare has gone downhill because of her, as she insists on useless OTC creams & experimental, expensive meds that aren't covered by my insurance or unavailable in the U.S. And they don't work. When i contact her office for more help, they just try to book me for another appointment. For the same thing! Not helpful and months will pass with no improvement. I have required prescription creams all my life -- i have very difficult combination skin and need excellent skinc... read more
During my appointment, Dr Jones was attentive and inquisitive, trying to stitch together a variety of symptoms into a diagnosis and then formulate a treatment plan. During my office visit and a follow-up call I felt listened-to and heard. She is thoughtful, pragmatic and thorough. I highly recommend her.
Dr. Jones is a competent dermatologist, one of the few remaining physicians that isn't tethered to a corporate healthcare behemoth. I've used her for several years and she has seen me on time, and does a thorough exam without any theatrics. She diligently checks for ticks and Lyme disease and doesn't skimp on the doxycycline.
not at this time -- too overbooked.
I saw her once or twice for yearly visits/skin checks because skin cancer runs on both sides of my family. During my second visit (it was in the summertime), she told me not to wear sunscreen because it was bad for the environment, and instead opt for a hat or long clothes when I spent considerable time outdoors. I was 19 at the time...what 19-year-old covers up in the summertime, and moreover, what dermatologist tells you not to wear sunscreen? I'm 22 now, and the more I reflect on that appointment, the more absurd her stat... read more
She brushed off a spot I asked her to look at as a Reaction to a bug bite. I had had the spot for a good year. A second opinion At another office diagnosed me with melanoma. I had to have 2 major surgeries with a wide excision to remove it. She was nice enough but in my opinion not thorough and was so rushed she spent about 3 minutes with me with an insanely packed waiting room. Very upset that this happened when it shouldn't have !
I've seen her for years and I trust her knowledge, skill and integrity. It is true that there is a long wait time to see her. Dermatologists are in short supply in this area. But when she is with me at my appt, her attention is focused on me and no one else.

In previous years it was possible to get appointments in a reasonable amount of time. It is obvious that her practice has grown to the point where she cannot provide acceptably prompt service. This is unfortunate.
