I have the fondest memories of going here with my Grandfather in the late 70's/early 80's when we would rent a 12' aluminum boat to the right of where the bait store used to be. I recall a little shack where the cove is and there were usually 8-10 boats to rent. My grandfather bought a 7.5 Hp Sears Elgin onboard motor just to use with these rentals.
