I have been a patient of Dr. Gross for several years. Dr. Gross was in private practice. He is fabulous. I am not impressed with Tucson Eyecare. I am changing doctors. It is too difficult to get in to see him now. In order to schedule an appointment I need to see an Optometrist to get a referral. That means, with my insurance, I have 2 co-pays. This wasn't the case in his private practice. Other offices ask what insurance you carry when making an appointment. They didn't until I got there
Absolutely the VERY BEST eye doctor and surgeon I have ever received treatment from. He's above a 5-star rating.
I highly recommend Dr. Gross!! He is gentle, kind and thorough. I have seen him for several years for ocular hypertension, and he has worked well with both my primary care physician and my optometrist in my hometown three hours away to keep my health better, both in my eyes and in my body. He saw something in my eyes that suggested a major health issue and contacted my primary care physician and it was brought under treatment much quicker because of his caring ways.
