Dr. Backus is incredibly disrespectful. I had brought my 15 year old daughter in to see him at the referral of a nurse practitioner in his office. She had diagnosed my daughter with bunions and after exhausting all angles to provide some relief, nothing helped. We had actually visited two different nurse practitioners in the group before being sent (by them) down the surgical route.
