It’s taken me too long to write this review. This guy is a fantastic surgeon. Nice guy as well. Before my surgery I couldn’t walk more than 8 or 9 steps. I had a full hip replacement. I just ran 12 miles yesterday. I am very careful and mostly bike and walk. I used to go to manzanita Oregon with my son. I would hobble on to the beach in pain. At the end it was very painful. I recommend Dr. Jonathan Yin for hip replacement. The entire process from first appointment to after care physical therapy and post operative appointments, Dr. Yin was excellent. He explained everything clearly, asked if I had questions, listened and answered every question thoroughly. My recovery went amazingly well. When I have my right hip replaced, I hope it is done by Dr. Yin.
Preparing me for surgery, the procedure and the follow-up has been exceptional. I'm 73, surgery, a couple of hours in recovery and walked from the hospital entrance to my waiting ride home. Got home, walked up the front steps, walked up the interior steps to my bedroom. Dr. Yin specializes in anterior hip replacement versus posterior. No hospital stay versus several days and a much quicker recovery. Worth it to research and understand the benefits of each. 100% I recommend Dr. Yin. Dr. Jonathan Yin was my surgeon for a total hip replacement and I can highly recommend him. He and his entire team provided outstanding care, start to finish. I appreciated Dr. Yin’s calm personal manner, taking time to listen to any concerns and answer questions, along with his excellent surgical skills. I was quickly back to my active life, a very positive outcome.
I had many concerns about getting a total hip replacement. These concerns caused me to put off the surgery for two, painful years. But Dr Yin was just wonderful in my first visit with him. He was supremely calm and encouraging and detailed the risks and rewards of the procedure. The day of the surgery he was making conversation with his colleagues about his son playing the trombone.
