There are not enough stars for me to share how instrumental Dr. Bekenstein has been in our medical journey. You are not just a chart number but a person to him. He hears you and fights for you, and does not give up, even when we have wanted too. Not only has he supported me as the patient but has made sure my husband is included, encouraged and supported. As a critical care RN with more than 40 years experience, I am very selective regarding my doctors. Dr Bekenstein is caring and compassionate. He may be talking sports with you, but don’t be fooled; he is continually assessing his patients. I too have had long waiting times to see Dr Bekenstein, but he always provided me with superb care. I feel we are very fortunate to have a neurologist of his caliber in our area.
On Jan 5th, I had an appointment scheduled for June 4th, because of a cancellation they called scheduled for January 13th, 5 months earlier. Dr. B. made me feel confident he could help my physical health challenges. I feel optimistic about health journey.
