UPDATE 9/16/25 since I can't leave a new review: The previous mattress I bought was a floor model; I was shopping on a very limited budget, and I knew what I was getting. I moved again recently and came back to Jonathan Stevens to get an upgrade. Richard was kind, patient, and helpful in explaining the options and helping me narrow into my price range and firmness level. Once again, I felt no pressure at all while making my decision. My experience at the store was awesome. He took the time to walk through several options for me for a bed that I needed right away. Bed was very comfortable comfortable than my old even took time to load it in my car for me.
A year ago I bought a bed in a box from Costco. It is for my guest room and I have been sleeping on it lately. And it's fine. But recently I went to a motel that has the old style mattresses and I slept markedly better. I decided to keep my money on the west side and went to Jonathan Stevens as I knew they made the mattresses here in town. Professional and courteous. Les helped me find a mattress in my price range and to suit my needs (lower back pain, side sleeper, turns in sleep). Fell in love with the vibrating adjustable base on site too, and at an affordable price. Lots of mattresses to try on site, and free parking. Went in last-minute hoping to find a bed frame after my box spring died on me, and Les was super helpful! Knowledgable and friendly without being pushy at all. Will definitely be back when I need a new mattress. Was also super excited to learn that it's a local business!!
