I really liked Dr Schell, so I decided to get new glasses and thought since he was so good it would be a good place to get them. When I looked out the window I could see the sign across the street and read a paper they gave me. I wore them home and everything was blurry. I was making a turn and ran over a sidewalk. I took them off and when I got home I couldn't see my computer. I called them and went back in. They said they would only give half What I paid or make them again. The front staff was very professional and pleasant. Gadget took me in and tested my vision, then Dr.Pike saw me. I was scheduled for the next week and Natalie the surgical coordinator checked my eyes and walked me through the process. She was excellent. Everyone is very personable and kind. Dr. Schell was very thorough and pleasant. I had no fears when I left the office and the surgeries were like a well oiled machine. This is a great family owned Ophthalmology practice. They are full service and have everything from an optical shop to an on site procedure suite. The staff and doctors are great.

Needed corneal transplant, had complete cornea available, but only replaced partial. Surgery should have been to replace complete cornea, but partial left patient with inability to see out of the eye. If a window has a whole in it, one does not cut out the damaged part & only replace the section where the hole is, because there is a line in the pane where the cut was made; same goes true for eyes. Very Poor !!! Would definitely Not Recommend!!

Dr. Schell performed a total of six eye surgeries on me in 2016. I had fantastic results. I have highly recommended him to family and friends.

I just wrote a review of Dr. Schell and did not fill in the five stars for Healthgrades, so one star is half the yellow color. Please know that he is a FIVE STAR eye doctor, and you will never be disappointed, or skeptical of his knowledge and skills when you get eye care, and treatment of eye disorders. I will add one more comment. He gives you written instructions for all after care procedures, and free samples when needed. Thank You Dr Schell, I will never forget your kindness and caring.
