The oldest seafood restaurant in downtown Salem, Oregon. A Salem icon since 1979, Jonathan's has continually brought you the freshest seafood, certified Angus steaks and great Cajun food. Well known for our "wimpy" burgers, seafood gumbo, jambalaya, razor clams, oyster shooters, wilted spinach salads and Louisiana steaks to name a few.

Great! I am soooo glad Jonathans is back. They were greatly missed. I love their food and their charm. Their Cajun popcorn shimp is the best in town!

fresh quality food at good price – I eat here numerous X a week. I know most of their customers are regulars. Quality is consistant. Excellent sandwiches, soups and side salads. I highly recommend this deli
Johnathan's, good food but just OK service – We have been going to Johnathan's off and on for a few years, sometimes the food is good, sometimes it is just OK. I had the cajun steak which was very good. We have found the service to be just OK on most occasions, tonight service was poor and we could tell that the server was not experienced. Memorable Fish Tacos, If Nothing Else – As apprehensive as I was about an oyster bar in Salem, I tried Jonathan's on a whim several years back. Since then, I've come back about half a dozen times for their fish tacos and excellent Tuesday drink specials. Unfortunately, the prices have risen steadily over the ages, and their forgettable creole fare hasn't changed to match. Very Very Good Good Food – This establishment has been around since about 1980..It changed owership several years ago. The new owners made sure that all the good things didn't change. You will find a very good selection on the menue. I like having dinner in the Bar Area . Excellent service all the time.
One of our favorite Restaurants in the city of Salem! Johathans is great in every way. They have a wonderful chef. The atmosphere is perfect. The service is also top-notch. We have been Jonathan's regulars for over a decade now. We have never had a bad experience there. I wish all restaurants were this good!

Great food, atmoshphere Jonathan's has great food and a great atmosphere. You can eat on the restaurant side or the long bar side. Their speciality is cajun and so they offer a wide range of delicious cajun food. They also have seafood, steak, chicken, etc but I go for the cajun specials.
