After a long search interviewing prospective Designers last year we were referred to Jonathan through friends, whose apartment we visited and loved. As soon as we met Jonathan in our apartment and we listened to his thoughts, only after he asked us many questions, that we realized he was interested in creating a home that would work for our life style. I was compelled to post for two reasons on this site. First and foremost, Jonathan has designed and overseen the execution of our renovation for our apartment in the city along with the interior design. His attention to detail has surpassed our expectations. Second is, when we met Jonathan and then viewed his website we were sold. I then decided to google him and saw the various posts on this site. Jonthan Ringel Design - DO NOT HIRE HIM – Totally agree with the prior posting. I just wish I had read this review of Jonathan Ringel before working with him. He is charming but sly and will charge hours like its going out of style with very little output. When you ask for details to support the hours you get excuses. Also, his creativity is questionable - all except 1 of his original ideas were implementable - this is after 4 visits with various contractors to spec it out and the many years of experience he patronizingly te... read more
